Sizing & Care Guide

All Roselle Studios pieces are handmade to order with a 10–12 business day production time. Because each garment is crafted individually, we encourage you to measure carefully before ordering. When in doubt, size up — or contact us before placing your order.

How to Measure

BUST — Place the tape measure under your arms, across your shoulder blades, and around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

WAIST — Bend slightly to find your natural waistline. Measure without sucking in, keeping the tape snug but not tight.

HIPS — Stand on a level surface. Measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, approximately 7–9 inches below your natural waist.

INSEAM — Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg along the inner thigh.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up. For custom sizing or fit questions, email elizabeth@rosellestudios.com before ordering.

Care Instructions

🌊 Swimwear (Lycra / Polyester Blend)

  • Hand wash immediately after each use
  • Rinse with cool water as soon as possible
  • Soak in cool water for at least 15 minutes
  • Use a small amount of mild, swimwear-safe detergent
  • Swish gently for several minutes until clean
  • Rinse thoroughly — remove all detergent
  • Gently press out excess water (do not wring)
  • Lay flat to dry in the shade on a clean surface

DO NOT:

  • Machine wash or tumble dry
  • Place in direct sunlight to dry
  • Bleach, iron, or dry clean
  • Wring or twist the fabric

🌿 Linen & Linen Blends

  • Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, or machine wash on a delicate/cold cycle in a mesh laundry bag
  • Do not soak for extended periods
  • Reshape while damp and lay flat or hang to dry
  • Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for a crisp finish, or steam press
  • Linen softens beautifully with each wash

DO NOT:

  • Tumble dry on high heat (may shrink)
  • Bleach
  • Wring or twist

🧵 Polyester Blends (Apparel)

  • Machine wash on a gentle/cold cycle
  • Use mild detergent
  • Hang or lay flat to dry
  • Low-heat iron if needed; use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric surface

DO NOT:

  • Tumble dry on high heat
  • Bleach
  • Iron directly on printed or embellished areas
